To have you with your minivan always with us made the 3,5 weeks very pleasant. We never had to worry about safety. You always stopped whenever we saw something beautiful along the road that we wanted to take a closer look at.

Having your personal driver is a great way to get around Sri Lanka because public transport is not as frequent and the cost is reasonable. Galle is a beautiful little village with several restaurants near the cricket ground. Watch the sunset by the Forte and walk to the markets and restaurants. Also a close ride to the beaches.

He knew the roads well - like a human gps but it was more the extra services that made it memorable for us notably he organised a lavish sri lankan meal in sigiria - the best dinner we had on our 10 day trip, as well as the booking he arranged for us for some much needed ayurvedic spa treatment. He is kind and polite and we highly appreciated having a knowledgable driver drive us around. By the way, we had originally thought of driving ourselves which we realised immediately when we arrived what a bad idea that would have been. Nevertheless i would say the days we were on the beach were days we really didn't need a driver at all and we found it easier to go spontaneously by tuk tuk than to have him be with us - But that was just our personal choice and decision - nothing to do with him. Overall we made the right choice going with this agency. The prearranged car type was what swayed our decision. It was important for us to have a comfortable car and we were not disappointed. The agent i dealt with was also quick to reply and professional. The driver was safe - very important so overall very happy.
